Business Continuity

Research has shown that 80% of businesses affected by a major incident either never re-open or close within 18 months. It is the intention of Business Interruption insurance to restore the business to the same financial position it was in prior to the loss, and if the claim is to be minimised and survival safeguarded then rapid recovery is crucial.

Experience tells us that Business Interruption claims are substantially reduced if a company has a viable Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan. Such plans provide a considerable advantage in getting businesses up and running following a catastrophe. We are happy to provide you with the support required to create a plan.

In addition, Insurance Risk Solutions are able to source a business assistance service which has the effect of dramatically reducing the recovery time following a major disaster by:

  • Relocating key employees into serviced offices within 24 hours of a disaster
  • Simultaneously diverting the incoming main and departmental telephones to the temporary premises
  • Setting up internet access at the temporary premises on standby laptops and PC equipment
  • Providing on-going support throughout the claims process

The above service is provided for an annual subscription that is based on the number of business seats required and is subject to VAT. We would be happy to provide a quotation for your consideration.
